Good, Greasy and Baked at 10:30 pm

Get Ready to Rumble with Good Greasy & Baked (now with more cello)!

The GGB has been described as the Sly and the Family Stone of Old Time Music. They play traditional southern stringband music with fiddle, banjo, guitar, harmony singing, and cello, etc. But the GGB ain't your average stringband... they also like to mix it up with some classic country, hip hop, sacred music, and as always, at least one velvet underground cover per set."

Members of Good Greasy & Baked:

Jen Sirey on guitar, vocals

Arminda Thomas on banjo, banjo-uke, and vocals

Cardigan Dan on banjo, guitar, and vocals

With The Good Greasy and Baked Touring Arkestra, Family Ministry, and String Ensemble, featuring:

Fiddling Andy Klein on Fiddle

David Tam on Cello

& the distinct possibility of special guests

And of course, the Good Greasy & Baked Dancers!

New Songs, Old Sound

In the summer of 2006, Vincent Cross moved from his native Ireland
to New York City,
where he hit the bluegrass scene with lightening speed.
Within three months
Cross met the ‘good company’ to help him
to realize his vision of playing original songs
with a traditional sound.
Indeed, Cross has an uncanny ability to write originals that

don’t sound like originals. His voice captures the high lonesome sound

that reminds fans of a young Del McCoury.

The Song Circle at 8:30pm

Four performers around a microphone taking turns singing songs and
picking. Each singer plays an old tune or an original song in this intimate setting.

Tonight we have

Nick Beaudoing--returns with tangy, honky tonk goodness.

The Debonaires--aka Howard Gotfryd, Jerry Herz and Deb Castellano singing from history's playbook.

Dock Oscar--songs about Jesus and shopping.

This shindig opens the show at 8:30pm.
